F1 won't return to Indianapolis in 2008
Formula One's U.S. Grand Prix will not be held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway next year, a track spokesman said today, according to the Associated Press.

The race will not return after eight years at the track, spokesman Ron Green said. He declined to give other details, but said Speedway CEO Tony George would meet with reporters later in the day.

George had set today as a deadline for reaching an agreement to extend the contract with F1.
